Kōrero mai - Let's talk Tauranga
Released Let’s talk Tauranga engagement website and fortnightly newsletter for ratepayers who signed up to hear about council activities - reaching 20% of the population.
Encouraging feedback and input from residents on projects that affect how they work, live and play in Tauranga. This replaced costly mass media engagement, saving the council both time and budget.
Developed demographic markers from the audience data that the council could use to promote engagement to specific groups, including suburb, age, gender, and ethnicity.
Worked with Events team and Web developer to release new events marketing website and newsletter - What’s On Tauranga to promote events large and small across the city.
Developed regular events newsletter with demographic markers to better target engagement to the audiences. Including local, national and international visitors. Segmenting music, cultural and family orientated audiences to increase engagement and ticket sales.
