ServiceIQ
Got a Trade, Got it Made
A national campaign designed to raise awareness of on-the-job training and career opportunities across New Zealand’s trades and service industries.
The campaign was informed by research into the stigma surrounding trade careers in New Zealand, including perceptions that these pathways were less professional or offered fewer opportunities for career progression than other options. The sector was also widely perceived as male-dominated, highlighting the need to promote more diverse and inclusive career pathways.
I worked alongside other industry training organisations and media partners to deliver an awareness campaign showcasing the opportunities, career progression and benefits available across the trades and service sectors. The campaign targeted school leavers and their key influencers, including parents, teachers, peers and employers.
My role involved supporting the development and execution of ServiceIQ’s contribution to the Got a Trade? campaign, ensuring its training opportunities and industry offering were clearly represented across television advertising, social media and events.
